Busy as a Bee!

It has been a busy week at Deep Run Apiary. We recently took delivery and installed six new colonies of honey bees. That's 50,000-60,000 honey bees, which includes six new queens (one for each colony). If all goes well, those six new colonies will grow to 40,000-50,000 Honey Bees per colony. That's approximately 250,000 Honey Bees by June!
